Willa's Ever After
Jennifer L. Armentrout and her incredible staff and army of volunteers put on one of the most unique and fun festival-like book fairs I've ever attended and I loved every second of it. She managed to get the entire town of Charles Town, WV involved, too. Coffee shops hosted authors and made bookish-inspired drinks. Art galleries welcomed authors. Plant shops, too. The wine shop down the road, as well. Historical buildings, opera houses, Miss Willa's Bookshop (of course).... the list is too long to name everyone. Just suffice it to say that we were welcomed with open arms and open doors. The panels were incredibly fun. Each had an hour of signing that followed.
There was a general signing, too, where we got the time to meet and chat with incredible readers and industry professionals. And the ball... let me tell you what. It was so fun. Garden themed with floral cupcakes, great music, gorgeous fake trees everywhere. The lighting and ambiance were great. I had a blast. And if you were there and got to go to any or all of these things, I'm so glad you did.
