Why I've been away from social media and this newsletter lately and a GIVEAWAY!

Oct 27, 2025 6:41 pm

Hi all! I've been a little more absent than usual and wanted to reach out to explain why. At the end of August, I started having abdominal pain. That progressed to back and shoulder pain. I thought I'd pulled a muscle. After days, it didn't ease no matter what I did so I went to my doctor and told her I thought I pulled a muscle.

She had a sneaking suspicion that I had, indeed, not pulled a muscle, but was having issues with my gallbladder. Tests confirmed she was right and I was referred to a surgeon because of the issue.

I had surgery in late September and have been recovering well at home, but I'm still sore and haven't been online as much while I've been healing. I miss you all, though. I'm back to writing after this unexpected interruption and getting back to 'the old me' so you'll hear more from me in the coming months, especially as I finish my projects-in-progress!

I hope YOU are well and are enjoying life at the moment! <3

Thanks for sticking with me and I'll write again soon. In the meantime, you should totally enter this epic giveaway...
