Thank you SO MUCH for entering our giveaway! There are a few things to note regarding entries and bonus entries, so PLEASE READ to ensure that your entry is VALID! We don't want you to miss out on our prizes!

There have been some things that have come up that we couldn't have possibly known or planned for - and that are the changes in Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube's algorithms for their "spam filters" to eliminate bot follows or subscribes, even if they are actually VALID.

We want to make sure that your entries aren't invalidated due to issues with these social media platforms. So please follow these best practices to ensure that if your entry is chosen, you won't forfeit your prizes!

If you are a chosen winner, ANY information you provide to verify your entry will ONLY be used for that express and explicit purpose. Only your email and address will be shared individually with the authors whose books you have won.

MUSTS & BEST PRACTICES FOR ENTRY:

• Follow ALL the participating author's IG accounts (or in the case of Lionel Hart, TikTok)
• Links to all socials are available on my website: https://www.authorcarlottahughes.com/
• We recommend you follow authors in small chunks over the course of the event. That way you won't get shadowbanned!
• If you are NOT following all the authors, if your entry is drawn, you will forfeit your prize and a new winner will be drawn.
• YES we WILL be validating each winner!
• If you refuse the validation process, you forfeit your prize and a new winner will be chosen. This is to ensure a fair giveaway.

MUSTS & BEST PRACTICES FOR BONUS ENTRIES:

For Amazon Follows:

• Be able to provide a screenshot as proof of your follow.

For Twitter Follows:

• Be able to provide your handle so we can validate your follow.
• Engage with the author's Tweets! This shows the algorithm that you are an actual person and not a bot!

For Newsletter Sign Ups:

• Be able to provide the email you signed up with if it is NOT the same as the one you entered the giveaway with so we can verify your Newsletter Sign Ups.

For YouTube Subscribes: (The most persnickety of the bunch)

• Be able to provide the email you signed up with if it is NOT the same as the one you entered the giveaway with so we can verify your subscription.
• If your account is set to Private for subscriptions, you will need to provide a screenshot as proof of your subscription.
• Engage with the author's channel by watching, liking, and commenting! This shows the algorithm that you are an actual person and not a bot!
