Welcome to the finally push of holiday preparations. This is when I scramble for those last few gifts, mostly for my adult children. I'm not sure why I even bother considering they really only want money but I have to get a few surprises too.
I'm hoping to not have to leave my house for the last few gifts. I live in Michigan where covid-19 is spiking so it feels like a game of russian roulette every time I go out. The good news is I've been vaccinated and if I do need to go to the store, I plan on wearing my mask and keeping my distance as much as humanly possible.
On another note, I think I've done a good job of scheduling for next years books. I plan on finishing all rewrites for Pickleville and getting them out to you in 2022. And I have 3-4 Saint Lakes/Wingspan planned to write but I'll release most, if not all next year. I have a single action adventure/myster book I'm working on in January. And I'm planning a new series, although I'm still on the fence about which one I want to start next. I have four solid ideas and I love them all. I may be as surprise as you when it's time to start writing the first book.
I shared with my Patrons what I'm working on in January 2022. They learned the basic plot, which is all I know at this point, and I showed them the cover. Here's a little peak for you:
I'll let my patreons in on the writing process with some character interviews, world building articles and exercises, and early access to chapters.
I'm hoping next year will be productive and fun. As for this year, I'll enjoy spending time with my family and friends for the time we have left. I hope you enjoy yours as well.
