Pippin the Cat
As some of you know, I rescued a six-week-old kitten from the mean streets of my small town. He was so sick he couldn't breathe out of his nose and so malnourished he was skin and bones. The poor little guy needed someone to love him and I'm just the person when it comes to animals in need.
It's been almost a year and he's still on antibiotics. He has what his internal medicine specialist calls Rhinitis, which basically means he has inflammation of the sinuses. It's not deadly but it means a long road of trying to find the right antibiotic to help him, so that's where we're at with it.
Otherwise, he's healthy. We take him on walks through parks when the weather is nice. Winter is pissing him off some because we can't do that right now. But other than that, he's a happy fella.
Writing
I'll be finished writing Wingspan and Saint Lakes at the end of this year, which has me thinking about what I'll write after I'm finished. I'm thinking of staying in the same universe. I'd like to know more about the paranormal council enforcers and investigators.
I'm also exploring the idea of another small-town. It would have a Motorcycle gang bar type thing and possibly a strip club. I'm not sure I want to go paranormal or keep it contemporary. Also, thinking about possibly making it omegaverse.
Anyway, the ideas are flowing. I'll definitely have more about this later this year or early next year. Maybe I'll take a poll or something. For now, I'm having fun staying in Saint Lakes and Wingspan.
