Preorders, Page-Turners & Fresh Words 🔥

Can you believe you landed here on my newsletter? Again?
Certainly, I wouldn’t have believed you if you told me a year ago that someone, anyone, for that matter, would find something I write interesting.
I can’t quite decide if it is the imposter syndrome speaking or that tiny voice that sounds a lot like a distant aunt, in the back of my mind, that wants to quiet me.
Yet, as I plan my next bout of news to you, I am humbled by the wave of gratitude that fills the spaces between the words that flow in my marrow.
Are you ready?
I am a complete Christmas nut, but I think it has more to do with planning the perfect day with family than it has to do with the gifts.
Although let no lie fall from my lips. I do love searching for the perfect Christmas present for a loved one. As long as it can be found online and the purchase does not happen over Black Friday.
I envy those who have the stamina to brave the crowds on these sales days, but I choose life. And being trampled to death while clutching the last Christmas fruit cake to my chest is not the way I see myself going.
However, it could be a good way to save the damsel in distress, if that was my thing. New book plots aside, I can’t wait to share my news with you this month.
I have received some beautiful bookish goodies from author friends, and with zero chill, I have already opened everything! LOOK IT>>>>>
When a new year looms over you like the shadow of possibility, we all do one thing. We make New Year’s resolutions that we never intend on keeping, and I am no better.
Except this year, I started early and included this month of December in my newly found faith in my organizational skills. While I am attempting to tie up some loose ends before I start writing in earnest, I always find myself coming back to my characters.
I am getting my short stories ready for release next year, and it is always a treat to see what cover designs the designer comes up with this time around. (Graphic Girls, you rock!)
Then I already requested three new covers for the next three stories in the Torture Games Series. (EB Creations always has its hands full with me, but never disappoints.)
Who is excited to see what Bastain and Rose get up to? I am. And not just because I am dreaming about them at night. And daydream about them during the day.
But I need to get this damn story out before it consumes me from the inside.
If only I didn’t have new visitors who want to come to life as well. I had the sinister, dark, and wicked idea for my story for the Cry to Me Anthology. I won’t last long unless I get back to it. So, see me scribble.
I also thought it was a good time to introduce my co-author...
SWEET MISERY IS LIVE!
Taken, tormented, and trapped, there is only one option left for Naz Adams, and that is to save herself. After she is scarred by the intrusion of her past into her present, Naz vows to rebuild her carefully constructed world on a solid foundation of Revenge and Redemption.
She has spent her life running from the memory of the monster in her past.
Now, she must decide if her fractured soul is worth saving, even if it means being with the one she has come to despise.
Griffin Maxwell expected Naz to run back into his arms.
But the woman he got back was cold, calculating, and merciless with one goal in mind: settling old scores. He will make Naz realize the truth about their relationship, even if it destroys them both.
All he needs to do is make her see that in a world where trust is dangerous, and love is a weapon, redemption comes at a price. And some scars are carved too deep to heal.
Perfect for dark romance readers who crave enemies-to-lovers tension, morally gray anti-heroes, and the kind of love story that leaves bruises.
Did I mention to anyone that the preorder for Sweet Misery is six times more than the first book? Can I just once again repeat the notion of how truly grateful I am for all the support and enthusiasm.
These small gestures make my journey as an author worthwhile.
And yes, I am truly an author now. I have had some bad reviews. I have struggled through marketing strategies, and I have sweat blood while waiting for ARC reads.
In my humble opinion, all this makes me equipped to say that I truly love each and every one of my readers and I can’t wait to continue this adventure with you into the next year.
That is also the reason I want to mention here that the new books in the Torture Games Series as well as the short novellas have been registered for preorder.
If you would like to come along for the ride, please check out the following books on Amazon:
Torture Games Series:
Novellas:
And the Cry to Me Anthology, coming out in October. (Preorder and cover reveal coming in June, 2026.
And because my heart is like a South African Taxi, there is always space for one more arc reader. Be sure to use the link to register.
Shifting Hearts is released and getting such great comments. Wouldn’t you want to be a part of this paranormal phenomenon too?

The one tip I can give you is to get your hands on Sweet Torture before you attempt to tackle Sweet Misery. Otherwise, the misery will be yours as you miss out on all the goodies that made the readers fall in love with Naz & Griffin in the first place.
And I heard somewhere that FOMO is highly contagious. Let me help you cure it.
