Unfortunately, the rest of the house still looks like a kitchenware tornado touched down and decided to stay. There are utensils in rooms that don’t even need utensils. The good can opener has vanished into another dimension. I assume betrayal is involved.

So yes. I have resorted to chewing on tin lids.

Not my finest moment.

But listen — I need structure in my life so I can create my chaos properly. Right now the chaos meter is screaming, flashing red lights, and filing complaints with management. (She says while aggressively chewing on a can of peas.) 🥫😤

In other exciting life updates, I am already pushing hard on the next book because apparently the “slightly dramatic limping author aesthetic” is not as cool as I thought. Surgery is happening in June.

Totally fine. Absolutely fine. No stress here at all.

I’m sure all my writing projects will be completely up to date before then.

She has been polished, packaged, and sent off through the sacred publishing rituals. And now my absolutely gorgeous ARC readers have been entrusted with the holy responsibility of deciding whether I survive this emotional trial with dignity intact.

Spoiler: I will not.

Because this part? This part is always the worst.

Imposter syndrome shows up wearing combat boots and kicks the door straight off its hinges every single time I hit “send manuscript.” You would think it gets easier. It does not. Instead, I transform instantly into a fragile emotional marshmallow wrapped in anxiety and hope 🫠💌

But life has taught me something important.

Not everyone is going to like what you create.

And that’s okay.

I’ll survive it. Probably. With snacks.

Still… I just want you to love this story so much. Because every character steals a piece of my heart and leaves me wanting to be braver, louder, stronger in ways I didn’t expect. And somehow that makes every late night, every meltdown, and every suspiciously missing punctuation mark completely worth it.

Honestly? If even one of you loves it, my heart is happy 💖
