Beyond The Personal

Dear Friend,
The weekend was packed, and I couldn’t get around to scheduling my weekly letter, so this one arrives a little later than usual. Still, there is something timely to share as the Sun enters Aquarius on February 11, 2026.
Before getting there, a small personal note. I am currently about 100 kilometres away from the Indian city of Pune, at the Meher Pilgrim Center. I came here primarily to meet my friend and father-figure, Bob Mulligan, whom I first met at a conference in New Delhi in March 2019. I arrived here this morning, and the day has unfolded beautifully so far. I have seen a lot of people from across the world and having conversations with all these people is really meaningful and enlightening.

The Sun in Aquarius moves us to think beyond personal glorification. There is a need to be illuminated about the larger order, the wider scheme of things. Events unfolding in society help us place our personal concerns into perspective, connecting the individual story with the collective one. Our responses to the external environment are shaped by the awareness we gain of our surroundings, but more importantly, we are placed in situations where we must discover inner freedom within the limitations of our environment.
With the Moon waning, this is much less about evaluating personal progress and more about gathering our thoughts to see how we can contribute meaningfully to the collective. The key is to trust that progress is happening, even if it does not appear dramatic or immediate. We are here for a reason, and something is being accomplished regardless of the pace. It is worth keeping in mind that will never be doing what we are not meant to be doing.
This period until the New Moon Eclipse on February 17, 2026 helps put your thoughts out into the world. Not necessarily to gain traction or recognition, but as an act of service to the community or the wider world. When we release the expectation of return and simply offer what we have, the act itself becomes complete. Someone, somewhere, may receive it and benefit from it, and that is enough.
