Jupiter moves into Cancer this year and stays there for about twelve months. I have been thinking about this transit for a while, partly because the older texts treat it as one of the most benevolent placements. I wanted to go back to the sources of Indian metaphysics and derive the true meaning of this transit. So I sat down and wrote a long essay on it, around 4,000 words, working from the Ṛgveda and the older sources.
