🌟 As we get into the thick of the new term, a shout-out to the APSS Mavericks!

Our inaugural monthly meeting last week, on 29th Aug, was truly eventful, marking the start of our 20th Year Anniversary celebrations. The evening commenced with a meticulously curated Social Hour, followed by an immersive LSP workshop geared towards envisioning and setting goals for the upcoming year.

The highlight was the introduction of the new Executive Board at the Asia Professional Speakers Association. I am truly honored and excited to be taking the helm as the President of APSS. I am eager to foster deeper connections within our community and the wider network of thought leaders, speakers, authors, and more. Joining me as Vice President is Sha-En Yeo, with Tay Guan Hin, IPP serving as our advisor to the board, and The Exco in other key roles; Avni Martin, Dane Tang, Sarah Bagharib, Yuantai Liu, James Leong, Tim Hamons and Pauline Kirk.

 A heartfelt shout out to Erika Behl for an awe-inspiring LEGO Serious Play Workshop—a groundbreaking first for APSS! Your expertise and guidance enriched the experience for every attendee.

We were also privileged to have not one but two of our Maverick CSPs, the dynamic duo, Tom Abbott and Cynthia Zhai, as our evening hosts, entertaining while adding a vibrant spark!

In addition, we proudly unveiled the logo for APSS's 20th year and announced exciting new initiatives to kick off this milestone. Get ready for the first-ever APSS 'Members' Retreat', The APSS Boot Camp, Speakers Idol, and for the first time ever, bringing to APSS, the Kampong Spirit, spearheaded by our Past President and CSP, Christian Chua! We're thrilled to embark on this journey with you.

It was also an honor to announce 3 new CSPs at this monthly meeting - Congratulations Ritu G. Mehrish, Cathy Johnson & Grant Bosnick on your CSP accreditation!

Let's raise our glasses and say "Cheers!" to Mizunara for the fantastic Shochu Tasting Session- A full house Social Hour! This unique pre-meeting event addition created an enjoyable networking opportunity.

Last but certainly not least, a massive shout-out to all attendees! Your enthusiastic participation was the driving force behind the resounding success of our monthly meeting. Your presence and engagement truly made a difference!
