Thank you for registering for the APSS Mentorship Program 2022 and choosing Brenda Bence as one of your mentors.

Brenda is one of the most sought-after mentors and this year we have had almost twice the number of mentees, yet same number of mentors, as last year. As a result Brenda has kindly agreed to do a unique group mentoring program for all the people that asked for her, including you, so we can maximize the number of people who can benefit from her invaluable experience and support.

Having considered the best ways to make this a productive journey for all, Brenda has shared some guidelines in her video and these are also summarized below:

Brenda Bence's Commencement Video

1. Each session will focus on the key areas shared that you wish to work on in your application form. Brenda will mentor one person at a time and try to speak with around 2 people per session.
2. Everyone else will need to keep their audio and their video off, while the mentoring takes place.
3. All sessions and sharing will be kept fully private and confidential and everyone is invited to embrace the spirit of trust and openness.
4. We will decide up front, the best dates and times that work for us and ask everyone to stick to them. They may end up being evening calls, so please be prepared for that.
5. These sessions will not be recorded to maintain confidentiality, so you are encouraged to "be in the room". But if you do miss a session, you can always reach out and ask a fellow mentee what they learned.

We are very excited to curate this with Brenda’s support. Group mentoring can work very well as it allows people to learn from one another's challenges and breakthroughs.

Please kindly let us know if you do NOT want to join this group mentorship program by the end of day tomorrow, Wednesday 26th January 2022. If not, we will assume you are happy with this selection.

Kindly note that if you do not wish to accept this program, then whilst we will do our best to match you with another mentor, this can not be guaranteed.
