2. Financial Statement for 2022-2023

A big thank you to James Leong (our Auditor) for finishing the process prior to the AGM.

In the past year, membership grew from 167 to 190 which, together with Convention, contributed to an increase in our overall revenues of 110%, while inflation peaking at 6.6% increased our cost base. We continue to look into judicious spending as the costs of our vendors continues to increase.

Per the Reserves Policy established last year, we deliberately invested in the continued professionalisation of APSS. This included stepping up our flagship event the APSC which we held at MBS over 2 days with pre and post events where members received a subsidised rate. 

Our cash balance remains strong at $245k, with our Net Assets currently $55k over the 2-year reserve policy we established last year. With these reserves in place, the next Exco can confidently continue to invest back into our members next year.
