In view of the recent tightening measures, I feel that it is prudent that we cancel tonight’s in-person meeting for your safety. It will be postponed to a later date. 

This is a tough call, especially when there is a lot of time spent on planning it. But your safety remains a top priority. 

I am grateful for the large number of people who have indicated that they want to be there. This shows that our people really miss spending time together.

I really look forward to seeing you as soon as we are in better circumstances here.
