APSS Leadership Update
Mar 09, 2026 2:01 am
Dear ,
I wish to thank our Vice President Terence Choo for his role as Convention Chair for the convention coming up on 1 and 2 May 2026.
We are grateful to Damini for her active support as the Vice Chair of the convention.
As APSS President, I invite you to volunteer and contribute to the convention as much as you possibly can, so that we can help members and our broader community amplify their growth as speakers and industry leaders.
I would also like to take this opportunity to share that, after careful consideration, Terence has chosen not to step into the role of incoming President at this time as he prioritises being present for his young family after this ExCo term. He will continue contributing to APSS through his role as Convention Chair and as a committed member of the community.
On this note, I am pleased to announce Su-Yen Wong, CSP, as the incoming President of APSS.
Now in her ninth year as a member, Su-Yen has contributed actively by speaking at monthly meetings and at Convention, and by mentoring fellow speakers.
An international keynote speaker, board director, and leadership educator (Adjunct Professor at NUS Business School), she brings strong experience leading professional associations in Singapore and beyond. She is well placed to help APSS thrive in its next chapter by enabling more members to elevate their craft and impact.
I have full confidence in Terence, Damini, and Su-Yen in their respective contributions to our association, and I look forward to working closely with them to take APSS to the next level.
I welcome questions and suggestions to further improve the way we lead and develop APSS.
Amplifying growth with you,
Eugene Seah
APSS President
