Following on from the previous email from 2^nd November and as an esteemed member of Asia Professional Speakers Singapore (APSS), I wanted to remind you of the exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our growing community.

In recent times, our membership numbers continue to surge and new members are really excited to and committed to being mentored, which is a testament to the vibrant and supportive ecosystem we have cultivated together. 

However, this surge in membership has resulted in a higher demand for mentors to guide and support our aspiring speakers, facilitators, and coaches.

Last year, we faced several significant challenges in meeting this demand. Only 13 mentors stepped forward, which required an extensive effort to address the shortage and ensure that every aspiring speaker received the guidance they needed.

This is where you come in! We believe that your wealth of knowledge, expertise, and passion can make a tremendous difference as a mentor in our community. By sharing your experiences, insights, and best practices, you can empower aspiring speakers to reach their full potential and navigate this industry with confidence.

Becoming a mentor at APSS not only allows you to give back to the community, it also presents a unique opportunity for personal growth and fulfillment. Through mentorship, you can enhance your leadership skills, expand your professional network, and gain fresh perspectives from mentees who are eager to learn from your expertise.

The deadline for mentorship applications is approaching. The key dates are below:

3rd November- Mentorship Application Process Commences

30th November- Mentor Applications closing date

1st December- Mentee Application Process Commences

15th December- Mentee application closing date

16th December-12th January Mentors choose their Mentees based on application responses

15th-18th January - All mentors and mentees matching confirmed internally

19th January Mentor announcement to Mentee

1st Feb 2024 -1st August 2024 - Mentorship program dates
