🇫🇷 Comment braver le froid avec style à la campagne ? 👇🏻 [🇬🇧 translation & brands below] Les attentes que l’on a pour son vêtement n’est clairement pas le même que sur la ville. Something warm and especially sturdy to do some outdoor work. 1️⃣ For that, I built a layering with my big turtleneck and a tweed work jacket from @hastparis that do the job warmth-wise. 2️⃣ On top of that, because I don't want to ruin them either, although I'm not too worried about the tweed, and because I also need to be protected from the wind, I put on my vintage jungle jacket 3️⃣ On the trousers, a sturdy military gurkha. 🇬🇧 Tweed work jacket for winter 👇🏻 I didn’t post my reel yesterday, I wanted to spend some time with family, so as you guys with your close ones I guess I’m sharing with you this work jacket I have for a few weeks now, it’s the same base of the twill camel one I have, but pockets are different on this one, along with fabric of course ! I love tweed, that’w no secret, but I usually wear it on bold sport coat as a strong piece. But I have to admit that it’s very nice on a casual piece too such as this, and this burnt orange color is really nice in my opinion ! Je partage avec vous cette veste de travail que j'ai depuis quelques semaines, c'est la même base que celle en twill camel que j'ai, mais les poches sont différentes sur celle-ci, ainsi que le tissu bien sûr ! 🇬🇧 How to be elegant without being formal? 👇🏻 This outfit is a good representation of formality degree on a day to day basis these days, with a mix of casual and dressy garments. 1️⃣ We take dressy pieces, the jacket and tie, which we put a step down in formality: glencheck tweed for the jacket, knitted tie 2️⃣ For the shirt: ocbd, ivy's best friend, a classic. The pink is quite original but is a sort of gradient of the cardigan’s burgundy shade which helps integrate it 3️⃣ The good old faded jean. Be careful here though, the secret lies in the cut. Le rose est assez original mais est une sorte de dégradé du bordeaux du cardigan ce qui aide à l’intégrer 3️⃣ Le bon vieux jean délavé. Attention cependant ici, le secret réside dans la coupe. 🇫🇷 L’importance de la coupe et des proportions 👇🏻 [🇬🇧 translation & brands below] C’est rare pour moi de poster des photos en noir & blanc. En même temps, dans la mode ça fait sens : la façon dont on agence les couleurs c’est primordial ! Mais j’ai voulu essayer autre chose. Récemment j’ai appris une technique en editing qui consiste à retirer toute saturation de couleur, travailler la lumière en noir et blanc puis ramener la couleur petit à petit. J’ai voulu essayer ça sur cette tenue. Without the jacket, the outfit is quite casual but elegant. A nice long coat is obviously missing, but I would have been difficult showing you the outfit!
