One of the greatest Christmas gifts we received this year wasn’t wrapped or placed under a tree. It was dozens of photos of our rescued cats and dogs safe, loved, and thriving in their new homes: your homes.

Seeing happy faces like Dorothy, curled up, content, and clearly right where she belongs, reminds us exactly why we do this work. Knowing that animals who had nowhere to go are now part of families like yours truly warms our hearts.

Because of adopters like you, this year was an incredible success. You chose compassion. You chose second chances. And you changed a life forever.

As we count down the final days of the year, we’re also looking ahead, hoping to grow our impact even more next year. And we’d love for you to be part of that journey.

Here are two meaningful ways you can give back and help more pets like yours find loving homes:

🐾 Volunteer with Arrow’s Heart

We are a volunteer-driven rescue, and we are especially in need of local volunteers to:

• Help at adoption events
• Help care for the cats and dogs at our adoption centers
• Transport animals between foster homes, adoption events, and vet appointments

(Driving is a huge part of rescue work!) Having more hands—and wheels—would make an enormous difference.

Support Our Medical Fund ❤️

We’re currently just $300 away from reaching our Medical Fund goal, which helps cover life-saving treatments for animals with nowhere else to turn.

One recent example is Pat, a cat we rescued a few weeks ago who was in serious danger due to a severe tail infection. Thanks to our donors, Pat received the treatment he needed and is now safe in a foster home—waiting for his forever family (and we may even have someone lined up, fingers crossed!).
