It was midnight when I got the call

Hi ,

It was the middle of the night when my phone rang.

Four cats had been left on the side of the road in a dog kennel. They were locked up in freezing temperatures, unable to seek warmth. No one else was answering. We were their last hope.

I immediately got out of bed to get these kitties to safety.

This is the harsh reality of rescue: animals facing heartbreaking situations, and their human caretakers not always knowing where to turn, especially in the current climate. We were not anticipating four new cats to care for, but they needed our help, so we stepped up to the plate.

We're doing our best to adopt out our animals into loving homes, and this past week, 44 of them did! We couldn't be more grateful.

Dogs like Hank, our 12-year-old pup with the adorable underbite, found a home this weekend! Each adoption is a celebration and a reminder of why we do this work.

But we still have over 100 animals waiting for their turn.

And do you know what one of our biggest expenses is to care for animals like these?

🍲Food.

We provide the food for nearly every animal in our care, and with these four new rescues, we now have over 50 cats alone still waiting for homes! That's 50+ mouths to feed, day after day, until each one finds their forever family.

With 30$ you can feed two cats for a whole month.

These animals didn't choose their circumstances, but we can choose to help them. Every donation, no matter the size, helps us keep showing up for animals who have nowhere else to turn, whether it's at 3 AM on a freezing night or any other time they need us most.

Will you say "yes" so we never have to say "no"?

🐱 Help us feed our cats today!

Thank you for standing with us and for these precious lives.

With gratitude,

The Arrow's Heart Team ❤️🐾
