You may have seen our post about Corinne, the French Bulldog mix rescued from a crate in a basement? We gained her trust, healed her eye and ears, and most importantly, her heart. She has since found a home thanks to people like you who saw her for who she was and decided to help.

Now, meet Shaggy.

Shaggy's guardian had to make the heartbreaking decision to give him up as he moved into an assisted living home. Shaggy is blameless. He deserves a chance, and we want to give it to him. But first, we need to deal with his cherry eye, a surgery that costs close to $700.

Arrow's Heart takes the animals that most rescues in Minnesota say "no" to, not because they don't want to help, but because these animals incur medical costs that adoption fees can never cover.
