That is how many animals were adopted out through our rescue in 2025.

We still can't believe it! This was all possible because of people like YOU, who chose to open their homes to a new family member, volunteered their time, or donated to help some of our animals who need some extra love.

As we start this new year, we are looking to see how we can beat this number.

How does 2,000 more animals in homes by 2027 sound?

To make this happen, we need some help. All of the work running this rescue is made possible thanks to volunteers. They:

• Help transport animals to our adoption events and to their vet appointments.
• Support adoptions during our adoption events at our PetSmart locations.
• Care for the animals on location by cleaning cages, feeding, and playing with the animals!
• Take adorable photos of animals to help them get adopted.

We are looking for people who can help with these tasks.

The commitment? We are asking for animal-lovers who have 4h to give every week or two to help with these tasks.
