We hesitated before sharing this story with you

Hi there ,
Today, we want to share Corinne's story with you, because she deserves to be seen, to be loved and to finally know safety.
Corinne is a French Bulldog/bully mix who was rescued from a heartbreaking abusive situation. Her past owner suffered from alcoholism and regularly took in dogs, but when he tired of them, he would put them in a crate... and forget about them.
Corinne was the only dog we were able to save that day.
She had a friend who was also found in a crate next to her, a friend who had been there far longer. Unfortunately, her friend didn't make it. After spending who knows how long abandoned and alone, their condition had deteriorated too far. We did everything we could, but they passed away on the way to the vet.
But Corinne has hope.
For the past three weeks, we've been carefully evaluating her condition and, most importantly, earning her trust. She was terrified of humans at first—unsure if she could ever trust someone again after everything she'd been through.
But look at her now! She's wagging her tail, learning that kindness exists, and starting to believe in a brighter future.
Corinne still has a long way to go, and we will be there every step of the way.
The first thing she needs is surgery to fix her cherry eye, estimated at $680. She also needs basic veterinary care, including vaccinations and spaying. We're waiting on additional tests to determine how we can heal her ears—they're completely blocked from what appears to be an untreated ear infection or ear mites that were left to worsen for far too long.
In total, we're estimating Corinne's treatment will cost over $2,000, and her appointment is scheduled for April 15th.
As a monthly donor and member of our Hope's Crew, you are helping make this possible, and we couldn't thank you enough.
We couldn't save her friend, but you are helping us save Corinne. Together, we can give her the life she's always deserved: one filled with love, care and a family who will never forget her.
Thank you for being part of our Hope's Crew,
With hope and gratitude,
The Arrow's Heart Animal Rescue Team
