Three Ways to Use ChatGPT for Productivity

We spoke with author and podcast host, Matt Rouse, author of "Will AI Take My Job?" to discuss a few ways KW agents can use ChatGPT.

Summarize contracts or agreements: "You are a helpful real estate contract attorney. In the included document, please summarize it's purpose. Tell me at least 3 important things I need to know about this contract and points out anything that seems odd or out-of-place or illegal that is written into the contract that I should be aware of." You can upload a document or paste it in after this prompt. Always try follow-up questions like, "is this contract favorable to both parties?" It is not a replacement for legal advice from an attorney, but can help you understand long documents.

Want to stop using the same listing descriptive words? Upload a photo of the property and ask, "can you describe this home for me as a professional listing agent who also works as a marketing copywriter." Don't have a photo? Enter your property information and your description and ask it to, "rewrite this using less commonly used words in real estate listings. Keep the fair housing act in mind when writing."

Use the best source material: Don't tell ChatGPT to "write a social media post about real estate" that comes out generic and sus, when you can have it go expert mode. Look in your social media analytics, regardless of the platform, and find your top 3-5 posts. Then copy the text of those posts into ChatGPT as examples. "You are a KW real estate agent who works in the PDX Metro Area. You are an expert in social media management and copywriting. Your name is Amanda, and you are a big deal influencer. Here I have given you examples of posts that are in the style and format that your followers love. I want you to use these as a guide to create two posts about [topic]. They are for [platform] and use minimal hashtags and emojis."
