Our team was in Austin this week and we took the opportunity to talk to many Texans and tourists alike, and guess what?

Every single person we talked to who was not a homeowner, WANTS to be a homeowner!

Most of them just have no idea how it works.

Most common answer to why they don't buy a home now was, "have to save too much for a down payment."

People are not aware of options and programs available like first time home buyer initiatives. They have no idea how to improve their credit scores. What they need is education about home buying.

It seems there could be an opportunity to leverage your expertise in the process.

Find those folks who could soon-be-homeowners and just need a little assistance. Partner with your mortgage and title folks to see how you can help get people from shrugging to planning for home ownership.
