BreezeDoc Updates: New Features & Improvements

We've been continuing to make BreezeDoc better for you.

Here are the biggest updates recently:

Certificate of Completion Updates 📜

Every completed document now automatically includes a professional certificate of completion as the final page, providing a complete audit trail for legally binding agreements.

What's included:

• Complete signature timeline showing when documents were sent, viewed, and signed
• Anonymized IP addresses and browser metadata for legal compliance
• SHA-256 document checksum for tamper-evident verification
• Professional BreezeDoc branding based on your plan tier

Customizable Date Formats 📅

You can now choose how dates appear throughout BreezeDoc on documents, invoices, activity logs, and recipient pages.

Head to Settings and pick your preferred format: MM-DD-YYYY (US), DD-MM-YYYY (international), YYYY-MM-DD (ISO), or YYYY-DD-MM. Your chosen format applies immediately across your entire account, including date picker inputs.

Team Send/Resend Permissions Fixed 👥

Fixed! Team members with Owner or Sender roles can now properly send and resend documents from the team workspace.

Previously, the Send and Resend buttons weren't working correctly for team members even when they had the proper permissions. Now the buttons work as expected, and they only appear for team members who have permission to use them.

This fix is live for all Agency Plan customers with team workspaces.

Other Updates

• Field consistency improvements - Text fields now display identically between the document editor and recipient signing views, and PDF generation properly accounts for padding when wrapping text.
• Security updates - Updated internal software dependencies to keep our systems safe and secure.
• Clearer button labels - Party name editor now displays "Save" instead of "Ok" for more intuitive action buttons.
• Removed redundant Certificate of Completion attachment - With the Certificate now attached to the completed document, the separate attachment was deactivated.
• Navigate through documents faster with keyboard shortcuts - Press Enter to move between fields while signing, so you can complete documents without touching your mouse (Shift+Enter still adds new lines in text fields)
