Here's Your Monday Message from ANP!

Monday Message

Good Morning ANP,

Spring has Sprung! The last of freezing temperatures, the trees are budding, and the grass is growing again. Spring indicates change. I am a fan of change. I expect it, sometimes I seek change and create it. Change is inevitable. I know people who hate changes in their lives. Not me, I have seen so much change that I understand nothing stays the same. The art is to be the author of change.

How does understanding the nature of change relate to business and networking? When I started Before & After Moving Services, I changed from working for someone else to working for myself, because I felt I could do it better. I was right. I do it better because I am invested in do things right. I also added more services to the moving process, which works out well for me, because as the market changes, I change. If the market is thriving, I move large homes. If the market is slow, we make small deliveries. If the market is erratic, we hang pictures and preform handyman services. I am the author of change. I do not allow change to determine may path.

Networking changes also. Sometimes I have relationships which bring a large amount of work my way, and I can reciprocate the kindness. Other times those relationships play out and end. Either way I win. I win because I expect the change and am crafty enough to move with the changes rather than fight against them. Ultimately, changes will occur. The only question: are you the author or the reader.
