That's right. Our meeting Next Wed will be the first ever KIDS day at ANP! As we all know, networking is an important life skill. Sadly, it isn't taught in schools. Some say this current generation of kids is more isolated and less socially developed than any before it. Perhaps we can help with that.
This meeting will be facilitated with the kids in mind. We'll start with opening remarks/presentation on how to have a SUPERHERO mindset. Lisa LA will dovetail from there with the Edmo. It'll all be applicable to life- not just business and networking.
The kids will have an opportunity to stand up, intro themselves to the group, and tell us who their favorite superhero is. There's no pressure to do this. If they want to pass that's fine. We're just happy to have them there regardless. If they want to do it, you might want to coach them or help them practice beforehand.
I know this is not spring break week so school aged kids will miss an hour or so of school. The goal is to make the meeting fun, educational and relevant for all! So I think of it as a mini field trip.
We have a minimum age requirement of 7- no max age. We want the kiddos old enough to be engaged and able to get something out of the experience. Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins are all welcome.
So let's put out invites this weekend and let me know who's coming on Monday.
