Hello
TAMING VIOLET - NOW LIVE
AVAILABLE IN KINDLE UNLIMITED
Have you got your copy yet?
I meant to send this email yesterday on release day, but it was 11pm when I started to put the newsletter together after a full day on social media.
I look at other authors on their release day like Catherina Maura looking absolutely stunning, a fresh bouquet of flowers in the background. Lucy Score is off on her jolly's doing various book signings, other authors are out celebrating with drinks, nice meals out, and cake...
And here's me looking frazzled, spending most of the day in PJ's surviving on coffee and packets of chocolates from the kids treat tin. The only thing in the background is a mountain of ironing.
Release day for me, isn't celebrating. It's making the most of the one day that you can blast your book in all the groups. Do giveaways and run yourself ragged. But you know what... I love it.

A curvy girl, age gap taboo romance
I should know better than to get involved with my ex’s daughter.
Looking like the ghost from my past, Violet moves into my home, tormenting me with those sinful curves. Her familiar brown eyes haunt my dreams, reminding me of her deceased mother, dragging me back to that fateful night.
Years ago, the heavens were painted with red and blue hues as a storm tore through my world, leaving me with nothing but guilt and remorse.
Violet skies are never a good omen, but now those hues are wild streaks in her hair, matching her personality that refuses to be tamed.
After growing up in foster care, Violet wants answers, but the truth hurts and the secrets I’m keeping are to protect her.
I’m no saint and I know I don’t deserve her, but I’m not the worst villain from her mother’s past. I’ll be damned if I stand by and watch history repeat itself.
She’s either my redemption or my penance.
Teaser
I sneak into the house quietly, not wanting to wake Vi at this late hour. I’m still not used to having my ex’s daughter living with me. Opening the fridge, I pull a beer from the pack and make my way to the living room to unwind before bed.
Reaching the door, I pause. A light dazzles through the crack with voices from the TV and another unfamiliar sound. My head tilts. An electrical toy?
My shoulders rock with a silent laugh. I’m about to step away, but my legs won’t move. When curiosity gets the better of me, I peer through the crack in the door. Her favourite chick flick plays on the screen. Slowly creeping the door open, she comes into view; flush cheeks, eyes closed, back arched. Breathtaking.
Standing in the doorway, I release the door handle, letting it swing open a little more. She doesn’t flinch, too wrapped up in her own pleasure. My jeans become incredibly uncomfortable. I know it’s wrong to watch, but I’m mesmerised. Locked in some sort of trance, watching her lips part and hearing her sweet little moans while her hand pumps the gift I bought her.
She opens her eyes, catching me watching, and even now I’ve been caught, I still can’t look away. The buzzing stops as the toy bounces against the floor. She fumbles with her pyjama shorts to cover herself.
I should go, but my feet won't budge. And now she's seen me, I have to own it and not make this awkward. I stalk over, keeping my eyes locked on hers. I sip the beer from the bottle and casually sit on the old wooden coffee table in front of the sofa where she rests.
Her chest rises and falls with heavy breaths, but she’s still and quiet, like a mouse trapped under a cat’s paw. Only tonight I’m a panther.
