How's the beginning of your week going?

It's back to work and school for us after a week at the seaside. I've done absolutely nothing for a whole week except eat, read and watch some good movies (and some crappie ones). Oh not forgetting wiping my dogs sore bottom all week, or rather getting the husband to bathe his sore bottom (the dogs I mean, not my husbands lols) To top the week off, my son threw up in the car on the way home and it went all over the poor pooch. Its been a rough week for Charlie our Cavalier, but thankfully his bum is looking better.

If you thought the life of a romance author was glamorous, I'm sorry to disappoint haha, but I have got new pink peekaboo hair, something I've wanted for a long time, but being a big girl, I never liked to draw attention to myself, but Fcuk-it. I decided I'm going to do and wear whatever I like no matter what my size.

What self care things do you like to do to make you feel good?

As well as getting my hair done, I love skincare products and makeup. I've recently started the Skin+Me routine and I'm liking it so far. My rosacea has beed reduced and my skin texture feels so much better.

Talking of skincare and rosacea, I've been inspired to write about this in my next book, Pursuing Lilly. She's a confident big beautiful woman who doesn't have hang ups about baring her breasts on camera, but when the masked man asks her to remove her makeup, it's a different story. She wears it like an armour, hiding all her insecurities.

Heading to the Lowcountry for a few days with my brother, Apostle, to help him get his family’s shop closed and his sister back to NOLA doesn’t sound like a bad gig. I figure I can go and check out the angels at the Charleston chapter while I’m there. Time on my bike, new views, new women—it all sounds good to me.

When we get to Magnolia Point, I’m punched in the gut by Tallulah. She’s everything I never knew I needed or wanted. I wasn’t looking for her, but, with her in front of me, I can’t deny that she is my future. I just need to convince her to look past my relationship with her brother and see me as more than a biker with a past.

She’s going to be my old lady and that’s all there is to it. Now I just have to help close down her family’s record store, ease her into life with the DSMC, and make sure Apostle knows just how serious I am about her. Then Tallulah will come home with me and start our forever. What could go wrong?
