Fail

👋

Dear all,

I have shared how I did a nice profit with the first stock I ever bought, but I never told you about the many mistakes, which definitely outweigh that one-off successful trading. So, here you go:

  • I changed my ETF strategy way to often
  • I followed the hype
  • I panic-selled
  • I bought stocks when I was tipsy
  • I lost money on crypto projects I didn't understand and
  • the only one I did understand, I lost the chance to 10x the initial investment

And many of these mistakes were purely emotional.

Being rational, as mentioned in the previous email, is the skill that takes the longest to master once you decide to invest your time and money into the stock market.

Don't expect a care-free ride. But hey, at the end of the day: mastering a skill also means collecting many mistakes along the way. It means reflecting, reassessing and trying it again!

And also: It doesn't have to be that complex! Just K.I.S.S: Keep It Simple with a Sparplan

What skill have you been learning lately?

Take care!

Your André
