Dear all,

If you listen to anyone talking (to you) about personal finance, investing in the stock market and wealth, they should always add a sentence like “it’s recommended to consult a financial advisor or professional before making any investment decisions” or “make sure to do your own research and due diligence before buying anything”.

If they don’t, then you should not me listening to this person in the first place.

Anyone well intended will always tell you to Do Your Own Research. However that research can be rather overwhelming: there is basically too much!

One source of information I have been using for the past year is the app Finimize.

They offer a wide range of content, from beginner to more complex stuff, but always in a very simple and reader friendly language: “Our analysts look at insights through the lens of the 99% of us not making their life about finance. that means no jargon, and a bit of fun :)”

They will also highlight technical terms and add a quick explanations. The articles are both in text and in audio format and seldom longer than a 6 minute read. Here are 3 articles I bookmarked:

2. How To Build The Dream Portfolio For Every Nightmare Scenario
3. How Behavioral Investing Can Help You Outsmart The Markets
