👋

Dear all,

10 years…

I have spent the last 10 years of my life doing what I actually studied to do, after some trials and minor tribulations. I actually never thought that would have happened. Back then, people with a talent (and a degree) for foreign languages would mostly end up in an international call center.

I am assuming, actually, I am hoping that has changed.

And I also changed and grew these past 10 years teaching German as foreign language and ultimately training teachers to do so. I taught hundreds of students, thousand of class hours, trained many soon-to-be-great-teachers who are now much better than I will ever be.

Being in a classroom has always been a delight for me, I had a lot of fun and met many unique people and their workplaces. Then later I went on to recruit, train and help manage an extremely talented pool of freelance teachers in all things related to classroom-content.

Despite being very happy at my job, with an amazing team to work with. I felt it was time for a change, and my personal circumstances enhanced that feeling.

And change is an exciting thing! I feel like little André on his first day of school back in his hometown of Almada 😇

Here’s a toast 🥂 do difficult yet exciting decisions that make you feel like you are 6 again 😊!

Take care!

Your André
