Audio Transforming fear

HI!

How has your experience been with the process of Self Awareness of your fears, which I spoke about in our last communication? Did you take the time to identify and explore them thoroughly?

I understand that accepting our fears is not an easy task; sometimes, they are so deeply rooted in our memory that recognizing them becomes quite a challenge.

That's why today, I'll share a guide for you to independently identify some symptoms we may exhibit, which could be indicators of deep-seated fears in our bodies.

Note: This guide is an alternative to connect with your emotions and thoughts but does not substitute physical or mental health services. Remember that our four bodies need care, so if you need to see a doctor, don't postpone it and complement your treatment with the inner work that only you can do.

Our Four Bodies in the Face of Fear

Do you know what happens in our physical body when we feel fear?

When we detect a threat, the hypothalamus, a small brain region, sends alert signals to the body. The adrenal glands, responsible for producing essential hormones for survival and health, release cortisol in response, facilitating coping with stressful situations through fight or flight mode.

After the alarm situation has passed, hormonal levels tend to return to their normal state. However, in cases of chronic stress or when fear takes hold of us, we remain in a constant state of "alert," and our body stays in survival mode.

The constant excess of cortisol and other hormones, such as adrenaline, disrupts numerous bodily processes, leading to anxiety, depression, digestive disorders, headaches, sleep problems, muscle tension, weight gain, heart problems, and impairments in memory and concentration, creating a state of physical wear and fatigue.

Chronic stress also impacts our mental body. We constantly repeat self-destructive phrases like "I don't know what I'm doing here," "I'm lost," "I don't know what to do or where to go," "I chose the wrong direction," and many others you might be recalling now.

Our emotional body is completely immersed in fear, and our reactions and decisions are based on it, not in love.

Additionally, the energetic body experiences a decrease in vibration because fear is a low-frequency energy, unbalancing the physical, mental, and emotional aspects.

This imbalance can manifest through symptoms of excess or deficiency in different areas. Let's explore both extremes.

Symptoms of Energy Deficiency due to Fear

  • Disconnection from the body.
  • Persistent feelings of restlessness and anxiety.
  • Obsession with certain thoughts.
  • Scattered mind and difficulty concentrating.
  • Lack of organization.
  • Disconnection from the present moment.
  • Limited discipline and difficulty executing plans and projects.
  • Financial difficulties marked by a scarcity mindset.
  • Low body weight.
  • Non-existent emotional boundaries.

Symptoms of Energy Excess due to Fear

  • Obesity.
  • Tendency to overindulge.
  • Compulsive need to accumulate things.
  • Excessive focus on materialism.
  • Resistance to change.
  • Excessive use of security measures.
  • Adoption of rigid mental limits and inflexibility.
  • Lack of trust in the world.

Common causes triggering Fear

Throughout the years of accompanying people in the process of healing their fears, I have identified some recurring causes that activate fear and turn it into an automatic pattern in our system, sometimes without even being aware.

Among these circumstances are:

  • Fears experienced from the womb and during childbirth.
  • Parental addictions generating feelings of insecurity.
  • Experience of childhood abuse, either physical or emotional.
  • Living in a conflict zone, war, or forced displacement.
  • Early loss of the mother, father, or a close family member.
  • Emotional absence of the mother or father.

Transforming Fear: A Holistic Approach

In the journey of life, every experience, even fear, can become a valuable teacher, an opportunity to grow and learn more about ourselves.

My invitation is to recognize fear as a guide that reveals unknown aspects of our existence. However, if you feel that fear is leaving a significant impact on your life or health, it is crucial to address it in-depth to seek healing from its origin.

As a facilitator of alternative therapies, I recommend addressing fears holistically, both at the psychological and emotional levels, as it leaves its imprint on each of our four bodies.

Here are some activities you can engage in during moments of fear:

#1 Repeat healing affirmations like "I am safe here and now," "I love and approve of myself," "I feel fortunate to take care of myself," "I release fear and worry, surrendering to the abundance of the universe and allowing myself to flow," "Just for today, I trust," "I am protected and safe."

#2 Gardening and play with the soil.

#3 Walk barefoot while repeating, "I am here, I am now."

#4 Connect with nature, whether by going outdoors or playing with animals.

#5 Activate the colour red, either by dressing in it or consuming foods and drinks of this color (red is linked to the root chakra and aids in grounding).

#6 Meditate after lighting a red candle.

#7 Exercise to activate and connect with your physical body.

#8 Receive a massage, especially reflexology.

As a harmonious tool, I suggest considering a ThetaHealing session, a revealing experience to identify, release, and transform fears.

Now, let's meditate together to release our fears.

With love.

Ana
