Introducing Lori Aden

Lori writes:

My mother got lost driving home from the nail salon back in 2014. At the time, she lived in California, and I lived in Texas. I knew she was having trouble with her memory because she constantly repeated herself during our phone calls each week. But when I learned she got lost while driving a route she had done for 14 years, I knew it was time to move her back home to Texas to live with us. At the time, I hadnโ€™t quite mentally prepared myself that this was Alzheimerโ€™s. I knew my grandmother had passed away from the disease along with two of my grandmotherโ€™s siblings. But I didnโ€™t make the connection until she got lost.

Start Networking: Join our Author Directory

image

AlzAuthors was founded for three authors to cross promote their dementia books so readers could better find them. This blossomed over six years into a network of 300+ authors spreading information about Alzheimerโ€™s and dementia awareness and our own stories, books, blogs and other resources. As a contributor to AlzAuthors, you have the ability to connect with these authors to help cross promote your own work. Our directory makes it easy to find promo partners to help with blogging opportunities, newsletter swapping, social media shares, special events, and more. Inclusion in the directory is voluntary. If you would like to be available to others looking for partners please upload your contact information and links to your platform to the spreadsheet found here. This is a collaborative effort. Please do not share this document with others outside our network.
