Dear Friend of AlzAuthors,

In 2004, I became the family caregiver for my parents after both were diagnosed with dementia. A life-long lover of reading, I began my search for books written by other caregivers. I yearned to read about other people's journeys, hoping to feel less alone. I remember finding only two books written by a family member and little else besides caregiver guides written from a medical perspective.

How fortunate we are today that so many caregivers have now shared and continue to share their stories. The AlzAuthors bookstore is filled with choices, separated by category, to help you make a selection just right for you. Won't you visit us at AlzAuthors.com/bookstore?image

Introducing this week's featured author:

Steph Jagger

Steph Jagger is the best-selling memoirist of two books, Unbound: A Story of Snow & Self-Discovery and her mother/daughter story, Everything Left to Remember.

Steph is also a sought-after mentor and coach guiding people "toward a deeper understanding of themselves and their stories." The entirety of her work, lies "at the intersection of loss, the nature of deep remembrance, and the personal journey of re-creation."

Steph writes:

I don’t like to be consumed by things. I think that’s the reason why I wrote Everything Left to Rememberβ€”why I chose to document, not only the good, the bad, and the magical, from the road trip I took with my mother, but also the role Alzheimer’s played on that road trip, before, during and after.
