Hey ,

Exactly 14 days from now we will be walking into the New Moon Eclipse & Chinese Lunar New Year.

Strangely so, while I know it's the Fire Horse Year coming, I keep picturing a butterfly inside its cocoon instead.

From the outside, it looks like nothing is happening.

But inside, there is a very precise, sacred process at work.

And if someone tries to help it out too soon, they don’t “support” it – they take away the very struggle that strengthens its wings.

I often think this is true for a seed.

If we force the bud to open before it’s ready, we don’t help it bloom – we tear the delicate structures that need a little more darkness, a little more quiet, before they can meet the light.

Aquarius season often brings “sudden” inner shifts: the realisation that a version of us is complete, a pattern is done, a new future is quietly calling.

And the Year of the Horse adds a longing to move with more honesty, to run more freely with who we really are.

However, even with these awakenings, there is such wisdom in the essense of timing.

Being responsible with our consciousness doesn’t mean bracing ourselves to be “ready” on demand. Because sometimes it may look like:

• acknowledging, with love, “I’m not quite ready yet, but I’m making space for that readiness to grow,”
• choosing environments that feel safe enough for our next layer to emerge,
• honouring that our nervous system, emotional body, and soul all have their own alignment to converge

This is how I think the nature of being human is; and especially when we are into energy work, and sound in particular.

Sound healers are here to hold a field where your own timing can unfold more gracefully, so your system can soften instead of brace, and the “new you” forming inside has support as it prepares to take its first breath.
