Do you see this photo below? It was what inspired the idea for the Tourism Women Luncheon *smiles*

Here is the story behind this beautiful photo...

In 2017, I bumped into Oprah Winfrey's epic Legend Ball Weekend, which was held in May 2006. The 3-day weekend was spent honoring twenty-five African American women in art, entertainment, and civil rights.

These were black women who paved the way for their generation, and the 'young'uns', those who have also benefited from these legends' trailblazing actions.

So why the Tourism Women Luncheon (TWL)?

Like Oprah, my dream is to create a safe space for young women to connect and bond with trailblazing women, those who have paved and are still paving the way for us in the Tourism industry, especially in Africa.

This year's theme focuses on "Embrace and Relax Yourself". We want to make sure that both our beautiful 'young'uns' and legendary guests get to relax and enjoy themselves over lunch.

We want TWL to create an intimate and safe space for women in the Tourism industry to connect and bond - build lasting relationships.

For TWL 3.0, we are super excited about our partnership with Magsha Africa, a female-owned Tourism business.

We have packaged an "Embrace Yourself" package which includes the following: access to the venue (which will be confirmed to attendees), lunch, sip and paint, games, networking, and gbeborun time *shines teeth*

The early bird tickets are currently going for N15,000 (Fifteen Thousand Naira). And it would go up to N20,000 (Twenty Thousand Naira) by Sunday 5th March 2023.
