Focus on being productive, not being busy.

I saw this comment online a few days ago and shared it on my WhatsApp story.

The comment resonated with many people, so I thought to share it with you.

In 2023, please focus on your 𝗙𝗢𝗖𝗨𝗦, .

We get so wrapped up in wanting to be seen as busy that we miss the opportunity of doing what we need to do to get the type of results we desire.

Guilty as charged *raises hands and covers face*

I love being busy. But over the years, I have learned that being busy doesn't result in being productive.

I learned this the hard way. Hopefully, I will do better this year *claps hands in prayer*

#1. AfricaNXT 2023: #DestinationNXT Session

Every year, I look forward to attending AfricaNXT (Formerly Social Media Week Lagos), and this year is no exception.

Once again, I am elated to host a Tourism session at AfricaNXT 2023. And this year's edition is focused on Tourism Collaborative-Partnership.

#2. International Women's Day 2023: Tourism Women Luncheon 3.0

#3. Africa Youth In Tourism Innovation Challenge 2023

As a 2-time participant of the African Youth In Tourism Innovation Challenge (Top 3 in South Africa, 2019, and Top 5 in Ghana, 2021) - I highly recommend this competition to African Youths in Tourism.

Stand a chance not only to win $1,000 but to also have the opportunity to be introduced to Tourism leaders, mentorship, and potential funders or partnership.

The major focus of this initiative is to promote networking - that is connecting African Tourism professionals with one another.
