Ya ya dai, ?

Today, 30th September, has been commissioned "International Podcast Day".

As a newbie podcaster, I knew that I couldn't let this beautiful Monday pass without celebrating this new found hobby of mine *shines teeth*

I'm still processing the fact that I'm actually a PODCASTER! *pinches self + laughs out loud*

When the podcasting world started about two decades ago (2004 precisely), I wasn't really feeling it.

Why? I guess I just was still into the radio world that I didn't consider the possibilities of the podcasting community.

However, today I have a huge respect for podcasters around the world.

From those who jumped into it when people like us were still in "old skool" mood *giggles*

To those who have been consistently chuncking out episodes after episodes and series after series. No be small work, o! Talking from experience *wipes eyebrows*

And to those who have been constantly upgrading the podcast ecosystem, making it easy for late-comers like me to join seamlessly *grateful smile*

To celebrate this day, I specially invite you to listen to my story, as I share why I started and launched my tourism podcast, '𝗦𝗲𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗷𝗮𝗹𝗮 𝗡𝗲𝗻𝗲'.

During my "𝗔𝗷𝗮𝗹𝗮 𝗡𝗲𝗻𝗲'𝘀 𝗣𝘂𝗳𝗳-𝗣𝘂𝗳𝗳 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆", we hosted a special live edition that featured a Q&A session where our MC, Ayomide Adediji, put me on the "hot seat", which he was very excited about *laughs*

In the interview, I shared what inspired me to start the podcast, the challenges I faced, and lessons learned along the way.

I also shared some behind-the-scenes stories about why I'm so passionate about the tourism industry and how far I have come as a Tourism Promoter in this special space of mine *smiles*

So, grab your cup of delicious coffee and tune in to this special episode with your one and only Afrocentric host, Ajala Nene 👣

As the saying goes, "Give honor to whom honor is due". This ah-mazing project wouldn't have been possible without the following people:

A special shout out to my main partners, Africa Business Radio and Wokpa, for believing in this project to the point of powering my podcast and our launch party *fireworks*

A special recognition to my media team, De Royalkay Studio, for constantly providing amazing media content for the podcast *hails*

Then, a special mention of my creative maestro of a graphic designer, Kunat Tychicus, for always creating beautiful fliers for the podcast *claps*

Lastly, a special thank you to all our podcast guests in Season 1, 2 and 3, and to everyone that has supported, partnered, sponsored and attended our podcast launch party.

I appreciate each and everyone of you *claps hands in prayer*

Finally, please don't forget to celebrate every podcast you know and listen to.

They are doing an amazing job creating valuable audio content for their audience and community.

Please send them a special shout out today. Give them their flowers 💐

This is a reminder to listen to my personal podcast "hot-seat" interview *chuckles*
