Ba wo ni, ?
Yep yep...we have a new banner for our e-newsletter!!!
This is my "come-back" and I hope you like it...because I do! *shines teeth*
I got a couple of heartwarming responses from my last email.
And it feels so reassuring to know that you still dey read my newsletters even after being a 'runaway bride' *blushing*
Thank you for opening and reading, *smiles*
Let's get into today's gist...
If you ask me one major thing I have learned from building my brand in the past five years, it will be...
Having the blessings of PEOPLE.
People who believe in what you do even if they don't understand it *laughs*
People who trust your skills and offer you the opportunity to apply it.
People who may not buy from you but will recommend your services to others.
People who become your cheerleaders and constantly encourage you.
People who are willing to partner with you and help you build your brand.
Those beautiful humans who see you grinding and acknowledge who you are and who you are becoming in the process.
God bless them for us *claps hands in prayers*
One of my growth friends, responded to my last email with these powerful words...
"Consistency is what builds Community" - Folakemi Odesola
, this hit me so hard that I said I must share it with you.
See eh, people fail - all the time.
But do you know what distinguishes a person from the pool of failure and disappointment?
CONSISTENCY.
Ask celebrities like Beyoncé and the late Steve Jobs.
They stand out because they are (were) consistent with horning their craft and putting it out there.
And when they failed, they got up, dusted off the shame and went back to the drawing board to restrategise and comeback bigger and better.
Now you hear about the Bey Hive (Beyoncé"s fans) and iSheep (Apple fans). These communities will forever promote, buy, and fight for these celebrity/brand no matter what.
Why? Because they have been consistently creating and adding value to their communities.
How CONSISTENT have you been, ?
Behind the scenes or infront of your audience, how have you been consistently adding value in your space?
#FoodForThought
Even if you are serving over 1,000 people or even just 10 people, please stay consistent.
SHOW UP, !
It doesn't always have to be in big ways...you can show up also in little ways.
And it doesn't have to be everyday or every week. However, show up as consistently as possible.
Be of service to those around you so that you can build a community that will root for you no matter what.
For example, I wasn't consistent with sending my newsletter like I used to, but behind the scenes I have been busy showing up in communities I know need my services.
Oya I am done with my TED talk *drops mic + shines teeth*
Switches to #ShamelessPlug *bats eyes*
Next week is my birthday! *dances atilogwu*
To celebrate with me, I would like to use this opportunity to build my "Testimonial Bank" to help build my brand profile (both personal and business).
So if you have worked or are still working with me or if I have added value in you life one way or the other....
Kindly find the link to my "Buy Me Coffee" profile and share your testimonial about me - https://www.buymeacoffee.com/ajalanene

Then to ensure I am putting to practice what I have preached about consistency in this email...
I have decided within my heart of hearts, that I would make sure I sent at least two newsletters to you every month.
That is, bi-weekly e-letters from moi *bats eyes*
Even if I don't have anything to say, I would do my best to ensure I check up on you, *hugs*
To let you know how serious I am, I have set up a Google Calendar reminder and a clock reminder on my phone to ensure I do not slack *laughs hysterical + fingers crossed*
So till my next e-letter, don't forget...
Life is short, live it to the fullest, .
Sai wata rana....e-see you soon *waves*
Your Wanderluster,
Ajala Nene
