One serious lesson I have come to understand in this entrepreneurship journey is that having a huge following on your social media platforms or email list is way beyond the numbers.


The koko about the numbers is finding your IDEAL audience.


You can have 1.5 million followers and only a handful of them will patronize you.


Imagine out of your 1.5 million audience only less than 50 actually engage and buy from you.


Very painful o! *sniff*


However you can have just 1,000 faithful followers and about 100-200 of them actually patronize you occasionally.


Biko tell me which one will you prefer, ?


Definitely the latter for me, o!


I would rather have a small following who are raving fans...


Than have millions who don't care a $@%# (Pardon my French *shine teeth*) about me or my brand.


Now don't get me wrong, numbers are still important when building your brand.


You actually need the numbers to help your sales.


But kindly note...


Don't be in a rush to have a huge following without deciding who exactly you want to follow you.


People will follow you for various reasons...


For inspiration.


To see what you have to offer.


To one day patronize you.


To spy on you...monitoring spirits *giggles*


At the end of the day you have to be real specific about the people you want to be in your circle.


Remember it is beyond the numbers, .


It is more about attracting your IDEAL audience who will eventually become loyal customers.


Life is short. Live it to the fullest.
