It's been a minute *smiles*

Had to take some time off sending out my regular newsletters to focus on some backend projects.

And also to re-think my future as an entrepreneur...

As I have been doing a lot of reflecting in the past weeks.

Last week Friday 21st October, my alma mater, Covenant University celebrated it's 20th anniversary.

To commemorate, our association, Covenant University Alumni Association (CUALA) took up several projects to mark this milestone.

One of them was our annual Eagles Summit, where Eagles (as we call graduates of Covenant University) gather from all over the world (physically and virtually) to our university ground to celebrate our Founder's Day.

The biggest highlight of this homecoming is meeting with our Chancellor, Dr. David Oyedepo, who always uses this as an impartation session.

This year's impartation was special because of our 20 years anniversary, and it was a highly anticipated session.

During the summit, we, the CUALA executives, had the opportunity to share our CU@20 gifts with the Chancellor.

One of them was a map of the world showing 70+ countries where Eagles are currently residing and where we look forward to occupying.

Coincidentally, I presented the framed map to him. It was a significant moment for me...unknowingly *smiles*

In the past few months, I have been reflecting on the relevance of my business and brand in the Africa Tourism space.

And I will be very honest with you, at the moment it is bleak.

During the impartation session, Dr. Oyedepo said many profound things...but a particularly one deeply resounded with me...

"You are NOT the problem. You are only going through a process" - Dr. David Oyedepo

That. was. deep.

I found myself repeating these words to myself till it sunk in.

, sometimes we go through some challenging experiences in life and we start wondering if we are the problem.

We start asking ourselves questions like: "What am I doing wrong? Why am I not getting the results I desire? How can I make things better? Where do I go for help?" And so on.

You are NOT the problem, you are only going through a process, . I am also talking to myself *smiles*

One day, in the nearest future, we will be reflecting at these processes and thanking God we had those "problems" beacause they will make us who we need to be at that time.

Before I wrap this up, let me share one more gem from Dr. Oyedepo...
