Ba wo ni, ?
Happy April & 2nd Quarter!!! *waves*
But wait, o! Where is 2025 running to, biko nu? *shocked look*
Wasn't it just yesterday that I was wishing you "Happy New Year"? *wawuuuu*
Anyhoo, how has your 2025 been going so far, ?
Mine has been super-duper busy! So busy that one day my son blurted out saying...
"Mum, you are doing so much. You are very busy!" Lol! Oh my sweet son *smiles*
One major thing keeping me super busy is doing my masters at Pan Atlantic University.
See eh, adult schooling no be small matter, o! *sheds small tear*
From physical and online classes (holds from morning to late in the evening), to doing assignments (both group and individual), to presentations, to tests, to projects...e plenty!
Masters isn't for the faint hearted, o! But the end result is what keeps one going *pumps fist in the air*
Not forgetting God's grace and mercy, and the amazing moral support from loved ones...they keep me moving *grateful*
Here is where I need your support, ...
I have gotten to the point of collecting data for my final project, which of course is on Tourism Media *wink*
This April, I would be reaching out to you occasionally to request your participation in filling up my project questionnaire...
Don't worry, I have made sure it's not long and that it is straight to the point *shines teeth*
So, please indulge in the next couple of weeks...because this mama wants to graduate with a good result *gives you a geekish look*
With your help, I can do it, *image of Nike's logo + smiles*
Special announcement: It's with great excitement that I inform you that I am now working at Goge Africa Foundation as the Director of Programs
For those of us who grew up watching Goge Africa Programs on Nigeria's national television such as NTA and AIT, you would understand why working with them is a big deal for me *smiles*
As a tourism promotion and media company, Goge Africa has been promoting African culture, music, food, and her ways of life through television, radio, and magazines for 25 years and counting.
A few years ago, I discovered and fell in love with their CSR Initiative, Goge Africa Foundation, which focuses on the development and empowerment of youths through creating awareness about Africa's heritage and providing solutions for youth issues such as child abuse, child trafficking, etc.
So you can imagine how exciting I was when I was offered the role as the Director of Programs for their foundation. I am looking forward to a fruitful and impactful time with them *humbled + excited*
, I will be reaching out to you very soon with my project questionnaire.
Please indulge me and fill it, and also share with your network as I need every response that I can get to ensure a robust and authentic project.
Daalu. Adupe. Nagode. Thank you in advance *hugs*
Tilll my next Afrocentric e-letter, remember...
Life is short, live it to the fullest, .
Ka o di...e-see you soon *waves*
