Ya ya dai, ?

Do you like watching documentaries? Well, I do.

Do you know why?

I get to learn about a personality or an event that shaped our lives one way or the other.

And a documentary about Bishop Ajayi Crowder, Africa’s first Anglican bishop, is one to look forward to.

Pelu Awofeso's campaign aims to raise funds for his upcoming documentary of Bishop Ajayi Crowther.

This project is important for two major reasons...

This year is the 130th anniversary of Bishop Ajayi Crowther's death and the 200th anniversary of his capture as a slave in his hometown, Osogun in Oyo State (Western Nigeria).

As a travel journalist, Pelu has documented various arts, culture, and historical heritages in Nigeria, one notable one is White Lagos, a documentary on the prestigious Eyo Festival held in Lagos.

It would be a fulfilled dream of his to document the inspiring life and impact of Bishop Crowther, most especially in this milestone year.

In the next 30 days (5 days down), we would be promoting Pelu and three other crowdfunders campaigns.

Our aim is to help them to reach their funding goals for their projects.
