Kedu, ?

Between last year and this year, I have been invited for three (3) TEDx Talks.

Two in Lagos. One in Abuja.

The one in Abuja and one in Lagos were postponed.

Last week, I attended the other one in Lagos as a TEDx speaker.

I am guessing you are wondering how Ajala Nene went about this.

Oya here is my story...

Don't worry I will keep it short and sweet *shines teeth*

For three years now, I have had TEDx logo on my vision board.

And since then I have been wondering how to go about becoming a TEDx speaker.

If you don't know why being a TEDx Speaker is a BIG deal, then biko go and Google "TED" *side eye with a sly smile*

Last year, I decided that 2021 was going to be my year and I went searching University of Google...

"HOW TO BECOME A TEDX SPEAKER"

And I found one article that did justice to this search.

Funny enough it is an article by one of my coaches *smiles*

Find the article HERE.

You are welcome, *wink*

I immediately put to practise what she preached and viola...by 2020 ending, I had secured a TEDx speaker ticket!

To be honest I was shocked it was that quick, o!

By 2021, I decided to shoot another shoot *giggles*

And I ended up securing two more tickets, even though they have been postponed.

That's the story about how I got the TEDx speaker title, o!

Funny enough that title has not registered in my head yet.

Maybe it is after I see my TEDx talk uploaded on TED website then maybe e go register *laughs*

So , go and shoot your shoot, you never know *smiles*

I am an email away if you have questions *email emoji*

Also, to prepare you for your future epic TED Talk...*wink*

I highly recommend you read "Talk Like TED: The 9 Public Speaking Secrets of the World's Top Minds" by Caremine Gallo, a seasoned Public Speaking Coach..

And "TED Talks: The Official TED Guide to Public Speaking" by Chris Anderson, the curator of TED.

You can find both audiobooks in Scribd. Sign up HERE to listen to them.

Oh before I e-leave, this week I got an email that I have been nominated for the "Best Tourism Innovation Using Technology" category by the Pyne Awards.

Like I usually say...

Life is short, live it to the fullest, .

Till then, sai wata rana *waves*

Your Wanderluster,
