{Tourism Summit} How To Solve Their 'Panadol' Problem 🤕

Sep 21, 2021 12:01 pm

Ya ya dai, ?

A lot of African Tourism entrepreneurs have one major 'panadol' problem...

Funding their tourism businesses or projects.

Meet Shade. A Tourism Tech Geek in Nigeria 🇳🇬

She needs funds for her newly invented travel app. She has a prototype, a proposal, and her enthusiasm. However, her enthusiasm is gradually being crashed, as banks have refused to give her loan.

Meet Kungawo. A Hot-Air Balloon Owner in South Africa 🇿🇦

2 years ago, he launched his hot-air balloon business. He wants to expand the business by adding new features. Unfortunately, the money he managed to save in the past 2 years would not be enough to get the required gadgets.

Meet Afiya. A Safari Ranger in Uganda 🇺🇬

She wants to start a safari academy for young upcoming female rangers. She managed to raise funds through a few family and friends. But it isn't enough to start running her first program before the end of the year.

Raising funds for a project or a venture is not easy, it is a serious panadol problem.

It requires four elements: planning, implementation, execution, and patience.

Crowdfunding is one of the solutions that puts all these four elements together.

And it could help tourism businesses owners like Shade, Kungawo and Afiya raise the funds they need for their projects.

And our 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗱𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 would do just that!

To launch our project, we would be hosting our annual Tourism Virtual Summit themed "𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗱𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁" scheduled for 𝟮𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝟮𝟵𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟭.
