In 2017, I remember going on an online hunting spree to find how to turn my travel and tourism passion into a business.

It took me months till I found and enrolled in some online courses that showed me how to turn my travel blog into a business.

But there was a problem....

Most of these courses did not align with the African travel and tourism context.

Don't get me wrong, there were many lessons that helped me get started.

But they were mostly oyibo (Western) related which made it hard to implement in the African situation.

However things are changing...

More Africans have started sharing their experiences and showing how they have turned their travel and tourism passion into profitable and successful businesses.

And it is helping upcoming travel and tourism enthusiasts who want to start a business in this space.

One of such organizations doing so is WeMove Tourism.

From July 4th to August 1st 2020, they will be hosting the Tourism Technology Boot Camp Africa.

It is a 4-week intensive online training and mentorship program on how to set up your own successful tourism business.

Once again, I will be facilitating on 'Soft Skills Development'.

Very essential if you want to run a successful business both online and offline.

The last edition which held in Lagos was a success and I enjoyed every bit of it.
