Ya ya dai, ?

Over the weekend, one of my amazing friends, Folakemi Odesola, held a zoom clarity hangout where they discussed dealing with procastination.

It got me thinking and asking myself...

"Nnenna are you procastinating?" *thinking out loud*

Procastination is a major problem for some of us.

That is why I like planning ahead.

For example, I schedule my plans based on priority and put all the necessary things in place so that I am not overwhelmed when the d-day approaches.

It also gives me time to take a break when I am tired, knowing that I have set up the necessary system so I don't start rushing.

As an entrepreneur, you need to start putting systems in place to help you plan ahead and avoid pitfalls, .

Like I mentioned yesterday, because you are still running all the show in your business aka "Head of All Departments"....

You need to ensure you avoid procastinating on projects and deadlines if not you will end up in pitfalls.

Here are some tips on how to avoid procastination:

#1. Set alarm reminders: Ah my phone alarm is my Personal Assistant (PA). I set reminders for everything...from my Victory Hour (my 1 hour morning routune) to when the kids go to bed at night! *laughs*

#2. Schedule your calendar: Put everything important in your calendar schedule. This always "saves my life". I usually put a 1 week and 1-2 days constant reminder towards a deadline so that I don't forget. God bless Google Calendar *claps hands in prayer*

#3. Get the materials/tools ready: When I have an upcoming project, I start preparing the necessary materials or tools available at least 3 or 4 months earlier. This makes it easy to wrap up the project on time.

, procastination can destroy your brand.

Avoid it by all means...

Start planning way ahead even if you are not ready for the work now.

And never forget that...
