Peace, God's Mercy and Blessings on you!
I recently watched a movie called Backrooms about another world that exists behind the walls of this one. It was... mind bending. But there was one scene which really resonated with me. I talk abut why in this weeks video. The just of it is that some of us have a particular kind of sensitivity.
We can feel the room before anyone speaks. We sync with other people's nervous systems without choosing to. And because of this, naturally people find us. They offload. They pour. They leave feeling lighter while we stand there holding something that was never ours.
And somewhere along the way we started to believe that this was our purpose. That our sensitivity meant we were supposed to carry it.
It doesn't.
In today's reflection I speak about what happens when you become the place people throw their pain - and why stopping that is not a betrayal of your nature. It is a return to it.
