Q: Does your advisor's physical business location matter?

A: This honestly depends on your preference. In this day and age, most (if not all) of the advisor's work can be done remotely, so physical location typically isn't an issue. I would say that prioritizing the quality of the advisor is more important than where they're located. That being said, if you really value having an advisor that will occasionally come watch your games and meet you in person, then location is definitely a factor you want to consider in your decision. So to summarize, location is something to think about when choosing an advisor, but quality is a much more important metric to prioritize.
