Question of the Week

Q: Why it's so important that you are a good person in hockey!

A:

  1. Builds team cohesion: Hockey is a team sport, and a team that is built on mutual respect and camaraderie is more likely to perform better than one with a fractured team dynamic. Being a good person helps to build trust and cooperation within the team.
  2. Sets a positive example: As a hockey player, you are often seen as a role model, especially for younger players. By being a good person, you are setting a positive example for others to follow.
  3. Promotes sportsmanship: Hockey is a physical sport, and it's easy for emotions to run high. However, being a good person means treating your opponents with respect and demonstrating good sportsmanship both on and off the ice.
  4. Enhances personal growth: Being a good person in hockey requires discipline, humility, and the willingness to work hard. By embodying these qualities, you are not only contributing to the success of the team but also developing important life skills that can be applied to other areas of your life.
